Eugeniy Stanimirov is born in Varna, Bulgaria on 17th of September 1971. After studying in the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria, he makes specialty in the Academy for young opera singers at Teatro alla Scala, Milano.
His repertoire includes the roles of Zarastro in “The Magic Flute”, Leporello in “Don Giovanni”, Figaro in “Le Nozze di Figaro”, Raimondo in “Lucia di Lammermoor”, Don Pasquale in “Don Pasquale”, Alidoro in “Cenerentola”, Silva in “Ernani”, Attila in “Attila”, Zaccharia in “Nabucco”, Filippo in “Don Carlo” and many others.
Among his numerous participations in performances on Italian opera stages can be pointed the following roles:
- Ramfis in “Aida” with director Franco Zeffirelli in Teatro “Verdi” Busseto, Teatro Aligheri - Ravenna, Piccinni – Bari, Piccolo Teatro – Milano and Teatro Comunale Treviso;
- Count Rodolfo from “Sonnambula” at Trapani, as a winner of the International opera competition “Giuseppe Di Stefano”;
- Banco in “Macbeth” in Teatro Comunale Modena “Luciano Pavarotti”;
- Sparafucile in “Rigoletto” in Teatro Sociale Como, Teatro Grande Brescia, Teatro Ponchielli - Cremona, Teatro degli Arcimboldi -Milano, Teatro Fraschini - Pavia, Teatro Pergolesi -Jesi, Teatro dell' Aquilla – Fermo .
As part of the Verdi Festival, Parma he performs the role of Pistola in the production of “Falstaf”, together with Renato Bruson as director and performer.
On the stage of Teatro alla Scala, Milano performs in the productions “Viva la mama” by Donizetti and “Dog’s heart” by Rascatov. He also takes part in the concert “Cantaforum” and the Concert of Academy of Teatro alla Scala, conducted by Riccardo Muti.
In Auditorio di Tenerife, Spain he sings Zaccaria in “Nabucco”.
In 2017 takes part of International Opera Festival in Tianjin and Harbin, China.
